Runaway- crane controls

I've got the mine entrance open -- and am ready to blast a hole to the bank basement. I've looked at the can of paint-- Brian tries the buttons on the crane but nothing happens. When I try again-- he won't push the buttons-- Anyone else had a problem here?

You have to set the statue onto the crane first before you can touch the buttons.

have you launched the paint yet?? Then seen where it goes?? If so, then Grandpa has given you the next step smile

yes, I've launched the paint and gone back to the bank to look at it and gotten the comment about it.
There is a statue that is already ON the crane. A bit square block. I can't get it to move and if I try the button Brian says he doesn't know how that would help him yet.
I've gone back to a previous save and Brian will try to push the button but nothing happens there either.

Maybe if you check the catapult and then the crane control that might trigger something.

Done that Mag -- nothing seems to be working <img border="0" alt="cry" title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
I've tried another save and am back to bank to check the can of paint again.

Nope -- didn't work-- Brian still says he doesn't see how it would help him. I've twigged the catapult -- looked at the statue on the hook-- nada... nothing has changed. Still can't activate the crane devil

I've gone back to the entrance of Douglasville and have twigged further conversation about the safe in the basement -- gotta catch up to where I was and see if THIS was the problem! frown
