Hi,

I have followed the WT and am at Iphestos Bar talking to Bloody Mary. I have found everything else at the bar. In talking to her, I use "cut to the case" and "willing & able", then she still won't tell me about Jenny or Aristos. I questioned her about the other topics and Mary says she doesn't speak foreign languages. I asked her about Mikes, and she did mention Rania. I then asked her "cut to the case and willing and able, but no new topics about Aristos or Jenny appeared on the side. There are green corners on left side of topic choices, but not sure what it does. I tried to scroll down, but couldn't. Can you turn it over?

I can't get Jenny's house on the map! How can I get Mary to tell me about Aristos and Jenny? I used smart alec and accept suspicions, that got me a free beer, nothing else!

Click on the red button on the right side of the topics and it will let you scroll down to see the other names.

I really didn't see a red button on the right side of the topics. I just saw two bright green bars on the upper and lower left side of the topic choices.

What should I now do? Confused!

Linda..it's a little red triangle to the right and top of the topics that you click on to scroll..I wonder if it makes a difference what screen resolution you are playing in??? Glynn

It really doesn't look like a button, it looks like a small triangle, but it's the only red you will see except the red X to close the topics.

I have mine set for 800 X 600..I don't know if that matters or not..just one of my "hair brain thoughts" just in case that entire topics window is not showing...it has a vertical blue line on the right side too...Glynn

It made a great big difference! I now can see the whole box and the rex scroll button. I went back and was finally able to get Mary to tell me everything. I am now at Jenny's apartment.

Hi,

I am at Rania's house and I pressed the black button and the card is ejected. I tried to take the card to insert in the slot, but Nick says he is already carrying enough stuff and won't take the card and put in slot to open doors! Any ideas?

Your inventory can only hold a certain amount of items. You need to leave some at Nic's to make room for more.

Linda, follow TLC's good suggestion and leave some of that excess stuff in your apartment. You can try to throw some of it in the trashcan--if it is something that you'll need later, it won't go in. Or you can just toss the stuff on the floor, but if you opt for that, be sure you move around as you drop things, so they all don't wind up in one big pile, where you can't tell what's in it...

Thanks TLC and Jenny! I will try and do that. If it is stuff that I will need for later, won't it just automatically come back in my inventory and not laid around on the floors?

Just drop it on the floor and it will stay there until you come back and click on it again.

Thanks for the tips! Before I left for Detronics, I left all of my items on the floor and I tried to leave some on the tables or shelves, but that didn't work! The other did and now I have traveled to the past!

I am stuck! I met Tony at Pallermo and the thugs came in and I had the pepper spray and I tried to get away and run for the drain and got killed! I had taken with me the pepper spray and transmitter, receiver and 6 packs of gum, but still got killed. What can I do?

When the meeting starts, hold only the left arrow key down. Keep holding it down and when Nick is able to run, he will go the right way.

That was a great suggestion and it worked! I am now at Chemron and thanks to you for that great idea! The 3 WT's that I had used never suggested that method of escaping. It just said when you get control of Nick, run out the door and hide in the sewers! I never would have made it that way.

Great! Glad you made it. I found out about using the left arrow key accidently, when I replayed the game, after trying for hours to get out of there. When you get to the robot dogs, just yell if you have trouble. I have a couple of tips for them too.

Hi,

I got past the robot dogs fine, but I am having trouble escaping from the blast of the bra. I hit control key and arrow to run to far corner of fence, but I get killed! It doesn't give me enough time to escape. Also, where do I climb up and get to the vent to rescue Tony?

You need to use the shift key to run. After you use the bra on the lamp pole, you will be able to climb up the pole to the vent.

Thanks Kay! I made it to the fence safely and up the light pole but I keep dropping the screw driver when I try to get the screws out. Any ideas?

Linda, first you need to click on the right side of the vent structure as you stand near it facing down. Nick will say that it's screwed shut.

Click the screwdriver on the same part of the vent structure you clicked on to learn that it was screwed shut. This should loosen the cover--once the vent cover is loose, click on it to open it outwards...

Hi,

I have successfully arrived at Detronics and found the doctor and am in the basement and infected the computer screens with the virus from the floppy disc. How do I get out of the basement? I tried to put the card in the holder, but nothing happens! How do I get out of the basement. I arrived here from the secret room to the left of the cell the doctor was held in. Any ideas?

Linda, I checked the two walkthroughs I could find, and the UHS Hint file, and all of them just say to "stroll back to the elevator"!

Guess it's time to start looking for an exit...

Hi Linda,
Make sure you are standing on the lift when you use the key card to go back up. If you are standing too close to the wall when you use the card, the lift will go up behind you and you won't see it.
