Well just to let you know - I did it 
Took another half hour or so but I finally made it to the end of that puppy. The flying in the airship reminded me of Atlantis: The Lost Tales. It was pretty cool

Okay another question - I'm at this spiral ramp thing that has a statue in the middle (this is after you escape from prison). I have been up and down, around and through until I'm nauseous. What am I supposed to be doing? I saw the symbol on the rock, been down below to where the dead guys are - what's the point of this place other than to make me seasick?????

You're in the Gallery of Heroes area. You'll do well here because of your navigation skills 
Don't hit me, syd!
You're to walk the paths one way passing through all the path with no turning around - the force fields will block you anyhow.

Go back to a saved game and take the right (not statue) path.
Take the outside path, then the middle path and the central top ramp.
Go to bottom middle ramp, take a tour to the end the gallery of Heroes area and then out to the right node.
You should see a cutscene.

There's a graph at the wt - just like map reading -

Well I finally got it - took me about 7 tries before I got the cut scene then of course I couldn't find the dratted gondola Now I'm at the windmill bridge and decided to call it a night. I think I'm all bridged out for today Thank ye kindly for the help Maggers :kiss:
