Traitors Gate - 06/20/02 04:56 AM

I'm stuck in the salt tower with screwdriver troubles. Found the previous thread on this same problem -- and have clikked everywhere on the multitool but can only get one screwdrive and the wire cutters. It's obviously not the correct screwdriver head cause the tool just disappears and nothing happens!
help help help! Again!

Hi Blondie.....Sounds like you are at the spot where you need the Phillips head screwdriver. The multitool is actually a "Leatherman" Multitool. There are four buttons on the closed tool. The Phillips trigger/button is the one you can't see very well. Its on the top section of the multitool bar, when its closed up, at the extreme right. You'll find it. smile

Stuck again ... I've left the hospital computer to find the graffiti and am supposed to return to the Tower of london sewers -- I'm back with the sleeping guard -- but can't find the right exit to head back to the sewers.... <img border="0" alt="pacify" title="" src="graemlins/pacify.gif" />

HI Blondie..I could be wrong, but I think you go out the outside door via the route back past the guard and down the hall where you came in. When you get outside, take a step or two and look down. Hopefully there's a manhole cover there.

I entered the area where the guard is from the door opposite the display in the hospital block - (top floor) the self locking door that you can't get back through (bar across the door)

Hi Blondie.....I never found the door I am thinking of to be barred and locked. If you come down the hall on the floor where the guard is sleeping and you turn left at his position, you go another few yards and the outside door should be on your right.

You might want to take a quick look at Steve Anderson's directions from where you checked out the display in the Wakefield Tower, as follows:

You should now have received a reply from the Pentagon. Unfortunately Henry VIII's walking stick and the secret passage are located in the White Tower [where your mission began]. Remember this. It will prove useful later.

For now, you should exit by the door opposite the display
[once through, it self-locks so you can't get back].
Use it now. Down to the bottom.

[CD3]
THE OLD HOSPITAL BLOCK - Ground Floor.
Go through the door close to the Sewer Exit [L].
SAVE YOUR GAME.

Hi there Blondie....Well, I can remember seeing this now and finally found it on page 16 of my print out. Just that much difference in size of print and formatting, no doubt. If you follow Steve's instructions precisely you shouldn't have any problem:

Face the door. To the left of the door there's a ball and chain on a hook. Then to the left there is a corner that has a wooden beam. Pannin g left therre is a set of leg restraints on another hool, just pan down to the floor from there and you should see the metal peg in the brick need nthe floor. You should have the "RING PULL HANDLE" to use on the peg. I don't know if you are supposed to pick it up or its already in your inventory. Use your PDA to make sure that you are identifying the Ring Pull Handle in inventory. Sometimes its hard to tell what those items are. smile

Also maybe you need to lighten up your monitor screen? That might help. wink You also might try the UHS Hints I don't know whether there's any added value there or not, but I'll look around for the other resources. Steve Anderson seems to be the guru for Traitor's Gate. wink
