ok help please how do i know that the power is on? i have lights by the switches .

Will you tell us in what location you are in? There are several journey cloths in different locations.

If you are in cleft, if there are lights, then there's power.

im doing the gahreesen part im at the place where you have to run back and forth to get power im just starting this.also there is a bank of switches there.?

If the column at the grate is all the way down and all the lights are on at the panel; then I believe you have power. Should be some noise also.

You're supposed to have a green light at the elevators and most of the doors should also work.

After you're sure you have power, I beleive that the 3rd Journey is in that room.

ok i will go back to the game oh i need to know when you play uru does your game uru flicker when i play the game. The game flickers and sometimes the game quits on me have you herd of this happening to anyone else? if you had please tell me how to get this to stop thanks

Can't help you with the flickering issue, it doesn't happen to me.

The Power Puzzle: there are two stages of restoring power. There is a plate you can stand on which raises a large stone, and then as the stone descends it provides power temporarily to the various switches and pedals. However, once the stone fully descends, power switches off.

You need to press switches and pedals in the right order while temporary power is supplied, in order to switch on the main power supply. This will involve you running back and forth several times between the plate and the switches to maintain power. If power is lost at any point the system will reset and the lights on the switches will go out.

If you do things in the correct order a large cog will rise from the floor, which means permanent power is now on. There is no need to run back to the plate any more. Make sure all switches are turned on before you leave the room.

the large cog does it have the 2 plates on the floor that i have to runback and forth to set does something rise there?

Yes, the large cog is immediately under those two kick plates/switches on the floor.

ok so that will rise when the power is on what is the easy way to get this done? thanks

ok i got the cog wheel up and turning now i cant get out of the room it said the door on the left there is supose to be a blue blinking light when i get colse to the door no light ?

Did you turn all four of the switches on the wall? The last couple to the right control the doors and elevators, and they need to be turned on before you can get out of this room.

Also, you did go to the machine that activates your KI, didn't you? That needs to be done before the doors will open...

no but i went back and got the ki now the door will open thanks for your help.

ok im lost again I got out of the cell now im went to go get the last cloth im up on a masa and have to jump to a door i got over there but the door will not open?

Soul taker -- it sounds as though you've jumped to the Bahro door, which won't open until you've collected all of the journey cloths.

From the platform you reach with the elevator (the one that rotates) you need to jump to the middle island (it has a journey cloth) and then you need to jump to the OTHER rotating platform (it has six long walkways).

hi becky ok got it opened now im doing the puzzles im on the 3 circles do u know how i can reset it i made a mistake? or how i can start over? thanks

You need to set the three 'scopes correctly, in order - 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

If you do set them correctly, as you set the third scope you should see the background behind the 'scope move as a door opens in the tree at the far end of the area where the third 'scope is located.

If there is no door, something isn't set right.

SoulTaker, the third scope (the one that the door is behind) sits out in the middle of an open space all by itself...

there is something that looks like a scope but has blue buttons i think what is that?

I'm not sure where you are now--can you describe a little more...

No, don't press the Blue Button. Just go back and do the Floor Puzzle again till the elevator is revealed.

yes I know it worked after jumping over or getting up there then falling off what a pain for some stuff in the hut oh well.finaly got the fire flys another pain had to go back 2 times but I did it. now im at the two boyes that I have to set by the waterfall what fun playing in the water well on I go !.

I loved the Fire Flies part!!

yes me too its fun getting them and then you just use them for a short while do i use them again?

well im now putting back the poles and i guess im allmost done I just wanted to Thank Mag,MDAMlady and Jenny for all your help in working on this game with me if you people did not help I would have never finished again thanks I will go get the second part of uru and maybe we will all meet again.!!!!!!!!

Soul Taker, the settings for that dial vary in each game, so no-one can tell you what they are. The easiest thing to do is to go back to the Bahro Cave at the end of one of the Ages and draw a picture of each of the four symbols on the floor there and their relation to each other--which is on the left, right, top, and bottom...
