Syberia: Making Oscar's Boots

Hi.
I have Oscar's punch card, have pulled down the lever number three (the only one that is lit up), and no matter which of the colors I chose, nothing happens. I must be missing something here?
Can anyone help me through this part? This is a beautiful game.

Just did this part this morning - pull down all the levers and try that. I don't know if the colors on that slider make a difference or not - I had it at a dark tan when Oscar was finally happy with his feet -

Hi Gremlyn,

Flip the 3rd switch with the light and the fifth one. Then on the left choose the tan color. You will know when it is correct because this mechanical bird will approach and pick up some wood which will be cut and made into boots.

Did you use the fork lift thing to move that barrel? You get the barrel thing by going outside, take the next path and use a switch there. It takes some type of barrel into the factory.
