Alone in the Dark The New Nightmare

Help! I feel so stupid. At the very beginning of this game, you are asked to choose between the man or the woman to play the game. The game starts with the man, and no matter what I do, I can't seem to click or set in motion what I have to do as to play as the woman. Please help me if you have any knowledge of what I can do to play this game as the female character. Thanks so much in advance!!!!

Yes, I remember this. The selection seems backwards. You use the cursor keys to click left or right if I remember right. Then it's hard to tell if you are playing as the female or the male.

Are you saying that you think you have it right, but that you are not getting affirmation of your choice.

I'll try loading this up to see what I remember... Meantime, experiment.

It's been quit a while since I played but if you use your arrow key(L&R)when you go to choose your character I think it highlights the character and will give you a description about them then I think you either press enter or click your mouse button on them.Like I said it's been a long time since I played and I may be wrong,but I hope this helps.You can give me a rasberry if it's not right
