Schizm - can't get off fish balloon

I have ridden the fish balloon to the temple by Bosh Tunnel. I am trying to go down the stairs to get off but I can't seem to do it. Every place I click I bypass the stairs and go back to the chairs. Help please. This is the CD version.

I had trouble with this too. IFRC you mouse over until you get the down arrow, then click on it, and you will go down the stairs.
