Courtyard Hitchock

When you leave the hotel by front door which way do you turn to get to the courtyard?

From the front door,take the alley to the left of the building, if your facing the hotel(which is also the way to the restaurant). The courtyard is to the right before reaching the path going right to the restaurant. There is also the door at the same side as the hotel reception counter to go to the courtyard. It is by the left corner of the foyer.

If you have the North American version of Hitchcock, they cut the sequence with the planks out of the game. When I played, I started up the ladder and the next thing I knew it was Chapter 2. So don't worry about the planks they talk about in the walkthrough unless you have the European version of the game. Just go back to the hotel lobby and answer the phone.

Jen how do I get to the hotel lobby?

If you're at the ladder, you just go down all those flights of stairs. Then you can exit the courtyard from the door to the lobby that is at the back of the courtyard on the right. Or you can exit through the gate and go round the front of the hotel and enter through the front door.
I never used the map that comes up when you use the F1 key to zap around, but that would probably get you around to the front of the hotel too. Just bring up the map with F1 and click where it lists the hotel.

Blew that one when phone rang I didn't answer it from front. Now i am back at the last steps to scaffolding. I need to know exactly what sequence to save game After do i exit and then come back to saved game. Or immediately load it after saving it.

From what I gather, you will not see the moving objects in this game since you might have the North American version of the game. So do not expect to see them. Just go start your last saved game and if your saved game is at the ground floor of the courtyard and have not climbed up the steps yet - DO NOT climb up any more. If your saved game is at the top of the steps - climb back down. Then go to the hotel lobby by taking the paved path to enter the next building on the right, enter the door and go to the hotel reception counter. Answer the phone.
