i am on the first disk i am in the landon's garage i have used the flashlight on workbench but i cannot find the oily substance on or around workbench i am stuck can you help thanx

This is what Frederick states:
Take a closer look at the workbench
Use the Flashlight on the dark area of the shelf
Use the Swab on the oil substance
- New Evidence: Oily Substance (Landon's Garage)

Check the walkthrough to see if you missed something - possibly asking permission to search first.

At the workbench, you need to use the flashlight.

I changed the link above - look for the CSI: Miami title on the list and see if you can link to the wt in a different way.

Also did you ask permission to search the garage.

still stuck at landon's garage looking for oily substance can someone tell me if the oil is on top or bottom shelf, is it on a box, or the shelf itself i have used flashlight, will i get some type of clue when i find it please help thanx

Ericr, The oily substance is on the saw cover, use the flashlight on the bottom shelf.
