I am playing this game and downloaded files I needed on the internet. I see they say put this file in your toolbar. Just how do I do that. I dont know how to find the tool bar in this game.

Hi TJ,
You don't say if you are using a walkthrough or where exactly you are in the game. There is an explanation of the toolbar in this walkthrough. Look near the top under...SPECIAL NOTES.

OK I see the toolbar, but how do I enter these codes in it. All I see on the tool bar is to go to intgernet, email

TJ, this came up once before--apparently all you have to do is to open the toolbar and then type in the numbers on your computer... luck

OK, now I am in VARI with this speaker and rings around it. I am turning the rings to what I think is the right possition but nothning happens. I looked at the walkthru and am using that as a guide. What am I doing wrong?

OK I looked at that walkthru and still have no clue what to do. I dont hear anything but a humming sound and turning the wheels or tabs does nothing. I have been at this for days now and am getting ready to throw this game out the window, then I will really hear some sounds...

If you are having trouble, because you are trying to follow the solution for the European version of In Memoriam's VARI puzzle, t'won't work. They changed this puzzle! the little devils!
Now, If you are hearing music, this is very good! That's what got me thru this 2nd part (the cities are the next, 3rd, part of VARI).
Use the tabs to eliminate the larger noises, but, and I think this may be different, too, the rings will be the ones to shut of all noise and leave the voices.
If I remember, there were 2 rings in the middle, 1 on top, very annoying not to get some kind of head's up. I do hate a complete 4-5 day waste of time, don't you?
After you get rid of the white noise, fine tune the music with the audio buttons, tweaking rings if necessary. After you've hit it just right, the white noise will quit- Completely! Yay!
Then just keep hitting that seemingly useless audio button- hey, it does work! It will gradually resolve from the singing, to a man's voice, saying the names in the correct order for you to click on. As you go over the stars, a nice lady's voice (where the heck did she come from?)will tell you the name of each city.
