Jazz & Faust...what happened?

Jazz was in the temple with Faust and Lousa, Jazz threw the bone in the dragons mouth then all of a sudden I was at the beginning playing as Faust.......?????????....The WT says that Alkiam was supposed to put a curse on them.....did I miss something here???

Everything is right on target, kiddo! You're flung back to the supposed start as the 2nd character, right on schedule; that's the curse, actually. The spirit punishes them for finding his treasure trove by sending them back in time to the beginning, before they knew his story... It's quite different the 2nd time around, though, so don't worry about repetitiveness...
