Rivin...Experiment Island

I arrived here at the island. Walked way out in the lake to the 3 way switch, put it in the middle. Went around the bldg that is #47 on the map. Followed directions, cooled the water down, drain it. Turned the little switch on the two pipes. I didn't touch that lever that was on the right side of the window. Now I'm inside the bldg and I'm suppose to go down that ladder in the center of the floor. I can't get over to it, much less go down it. Does anyone know why?

There is a moveable grate inside that will serve as a floor. Go back outside and find the control on the right that raises it (probably that one you didn't touch). You can watch what's happening inside through that window by the controls.
