i need JAZZ AND FAUST helper

when i(jazz) am in BLACK ISLE,i woke up in the prison,and i finally go outside the prison cell,i meet another prisoner,he is a captain.i talked to him as the walkthrough said,and i should give the"torch handle"to him,and i use the poker on the bars.but when i give that to him,he keep sayin"hurry up"or "we dun have much time,they soon come out".but just cant give that to him.and i use the poker to the bars,nothing happen or jazz said"i'd rather not do that"......

Rykeil, did you go up the stairs to where the Captain is behind the bars? You talk to him several times and then give him the torch handle (it is a straight piece of metal). Then talk to him again, and then use the poker (the piece of metal with a curve at the bottom) on the bars in front of the Captain and the door will open....
