Arcane Stone Circle help (episode 8) - 08/16/02 12:14 AM

Hi, I have a question regarding episode 8 of the online Arcane game for anyone who's passed this part. When you resurrect the demon and pick up the amulet of yhe what are you supposed to do then? By accident, I've clicked on various parts of the demon and this light lashes out and sometimes wraps around an arm of the demon but a few seconds later the demon breaks it. Before I know it I'm dead and have to start over! Which brings up another point about the save game feature not working for me even though I do have cookies enabled. But oh well, back to the demon. Does anyone know a solution to this? Having tried 5 times now and failed, I'm getting frustrated! <img border="0" alt="woozy" title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" />

The amulet has three whips. Go for the demons left hand first, then the right hand, and finally the head. It took me a few tries but I finally wraped him up. Good luck.

BTW...I never got the save feature to work in any of the episodes. It really got to be a pain.

Thanks Don M! smile I tried again last night but still couldn't beat this guy. When you say left arm first, do you mean his left or my left? (I'm assuming his left). I actually tried both ways, but can't get more than one wrist entangled before he breaks it. Is there special timing involved in terms of when you're supposed to wrap the light around his hands? Like maybe after he does a sideways swipe? I've tried several methods but am having problems with all.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I mean HIS left & right hands, not arms. I really didn't use any particular method other than not wasting any time going from a successful strike on his left to cracking at his right hand. I had more trouble with his head than either arm.

I actually think it's more luck than any skill or method you employ. You know, the old game designer "[blip] shoot" syndrome. smile
