Lightbringer/Cydonia

I have been trying to play Lightbringer, but when I come out of the "manhole" and go back to the hovercraft, the engine will start, but I can't get the rolling cursor to appear. I dowloaded and installed the patch, but the rolling cursor still won't appear. Is there some particular place on the screen that I am missing?

The manhole is the place with the planet puzzle, where you get a gold key that looks like a ninja throwing star?

If this is the place, after starting the hovercraft engine face the manhole, and then slowly pan to the left. The movement hotspot is just to the left of the hill that's directly behind the mahole - be sure to point the cursor below the horizon though.

Let me know if I can help - I've got this game loaded up and finished, with a bunch of saved games.
