Kraken- friday morning

I am trying to find the captain. According to the walkthorugh he is supposd to be on the front bridge but he is nowhere to be found. I have done everything else it says, talked to everybody , gone in all the rooms but he is no show. I even tried restroing to the beginning of friday morning and doing only the bare minimum in case this was a bug or dead end but even doing exactly as the walkthrough and not a single thing more he still won't show up. Is this a bug or what?

Have you found the original location of the Kraken in the globe in the vikings room and uncovered the plot. The captain should be on the bridge near the cannon after this. For the globe you will need the wooden kraken to open it. I hope this helps.

Yes Lundar, I was at Aboubabker's cabin for the ritual with the chicken, listened in at Rasputin's door and I opened up the globe in Olaf's room with the stautette. But the captain will not apppear by the cannon.

I am not sure what to say. The captain should be out there in the front bridge. Have you tried clicking on the cannon and then going back down the decks and coming back. Have you tried visitng the captains room and then coming back out on the bridge?

Yes I have tried all your suggestions and it made no difference. While going back and forth I discovered that there was a trap door out side your cabin with 2 guys below. So I thought great that was needed but it made no difference. I reloaded the start of Friday morning and this time I went to the trap door right away before doing anything else and spoke to the 2 guys. And sure enough this time the captain showed up and I finished the game. So there is a dead end bug in this game. The game was quite enjoyable up until I encountered this bug
