Post Mortem

I finally got into the murder room using the picks..It took me a long time..Any way I picked up a ring in the fireplace and some stuff that smells like ether.Is there anything else to do in this room.I also went to the ajoining room.Oh and looked in the sink at the hair dye.When I got out of the room the only person to talk to was the guy at the police station,,he told me about Hellion(SP)..Now No one will talk to me Is it possible to get another lock and pick to unlock Hellions door,,it seems thats whats needed, but the guy wont give me another one...Are there dead ends in the game or is it my brain that is dead and can I slap the clerk at the front desk for being so rude Just a hint please,,I am hoping not to use a walkthrough..

Since there are variables on this game - check the sidetable between the bed and the bathroom.

No, the lock pick is a one time deal only, you have to find another way to get into Hellouin's office - it's all right to get mad and destroy things.

Dead ends - well, er, IMHO No but I'm sure my bosom buddy will disagree. It's the conversations that is tiresome and you have to be constantly interrogating people over and over again. Very tiresome.

I could not find anything by the bedside table..but I went down the hall and found a hammer, I went to hellions office and broke in..Now I am playing the game as him..I have run out of people to talk too again..I found a box with a lock in the desk but I dont have a key to it..Where is it? maybe that might break the ice to explore more??Also where is Malet that I am supposed to meet some where, I went to the restaurants but he is no where to be found..hard but fun game until I get stuck..

Malet - if you're Hellouin right now and Malet told you to meet him at the restaurant - The restaurant is the bar next door to your friendly, diplomatic Manager of the hotel not the Bistro.

One of the important evidence is the use of the camera to take a picture of Allepin. The gold coin is also an evidence to convince the inspector that whatisname psychiatrist is connected.

I couldn't get the candle to glow because I didn't have the sketch of the head to talk to Bebe about and I couldn't go back as Gus and get it because I had already gotten it as Jacques (who I guess had it in jail with him). I would have had to go clear back before I switched into playing Jacques and replay almost the entire game. When did you open the chest in the Eaton's room? As Jacques or Gus?
