Largo Winch - combat 4 against 2 Help!

I need to get Largo to the freighter (near end of game) and Joy and I don't seem to stand a chance against these 4 bullies. No matter which one I "take out" with the knife first, either Joy or Largo gets killed. Anyone have a sure fire plan of attack for me to try? I've managed the dreaded slidder, all the hacking puzzles and everything else this game has thrown my way without too much difficulty but this fighting thing is hard for me (guess that's why I'm a true blue adventure gamer ) I don't really mind the action element in this awesome game but I'm just not very good at it!

My approach was to take out the two bowmen first, then the others. Use the knife on one and get Joy to use her special hold on the other. If she disables them, not only won't they attack in that round but they can't defend themselves.
So take out one with the knife, then send it Joy to hopefully disable the other. You will then have to cop some damage perhaps from the other two.
From then on, I sent Joy in first, and if she disabled someone I then attacked them using a kick from Largo. Generally got major damage. You should eventually get there.
Also, Joy can disable someone for one or two rounds (or none if unlucky). Don't disable someone already out of the picture.
All going well 4 or 5 rounds should see you home.
