Harvest "Recalibrate Machine"

Hi Gang!

I am at the point in Harvest, where I am trying to get back into the Fuel Cell panel in the Harvest Machine room to put in the new fuel cell I got from the cupboard in the anteroom where Vance is asleep from the pills. I can't open the Fuel Cell door the second time. Does this make any sense at all? The only thing I can think of is that I was never able to find the jewels or rocks back in the cave maze area where you eventually climb up the steps. Think that's the problem? <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
I absolutely cannot find those gems.............

I don't think that it's a fuel cell in your inventory. I think it's a fuse. It's used when the machine stops working to replace the one that's blown. Doesn't go in the feul cell door.

Hiya Witchen,

Have you changed the temperature yet to cause the fuse to go phhhht?
Are you opening the panel on the right EDIT ----I mean left ---- side of the left rock crushing machine to replace the fuse?
To open this panel to replace the fuse - click at top right of the panel.

Now, if your recalibrating because the right water collection machine says so - the panel to open to recalibrate is on the right side of the middle rock processing machine.

I don't think rock collecting makes a difference here. If I confused you enough, Mike will be along.

Are you saying that the fuse blew and the machine stopped AFTER you got the "Recalibrate Fuel Cell" message? Argh, not sure how that happened. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" /> SPOILER TO FOLLOW -

WHEN YOU FIRST ENTER THE HARVEST MACHINE ROOM, THE MACHINE IS RUNNING FULL STEAM AHEAD. YOU PUT THE RED KNOB ON THE FRONT OF THE MACHINE, AND TURN IT. THE MINUTE YOU TURN IT, THE FUSE BLOWS. THAT'S WHEN YOU OPEN THE LEFT-MOST PANEL (DARK GREY) AND PULL OUT THE BLWON FUSE AND REPLACE WITH THE NEW FUSE. THE MACHINE AUTOMATICALLY RE-STARTS, AND THEN YOU CAN SET THE TEMPERATURE TO THE PROPER SETTING. ONLY UNTIL THE MACHINE IS AT THE PROPER TEMPERATURE SETTING SHOULD YOU THEN GET THE "RECALIBRATE FUEL CELL" MESSAGE.


I'll double check the game to make sure it works right there.
