Realms of the Haunting

When I look at the map or letters in the inventory they are way oversized,to where you only see a little at a time . I can't imagine that it is supposed to be like that, so what am I doing wrong. Well here I am again and I'm not sure if I shouldn't be in Action section the more I get into this game. If so, please feel free to move me.
Anyway I am in the place where the pulsing hand is on the wall (I just arrived)and there are two monsters that I cannot kill. Does anyone know how to kill these guys? I'm protected standing on that carpet but I would like to get off it sometime! Please help! I will be so appreciative!

Ok - got it in the right place now:

When you go round the corner to the next part of this room you will soon see the demons. A breathing space can be found by running back and standing on the carpet to collect your thoughts. Now all you have to do is to kill the demons :-) OK, head off around the corner and stand on the bottom of the stairs facing the red/orange device. Fire at the device (use the Colt) when a demon stands on the zone rune, and up goes the pillar and squish goes the demon. Repeat until all demons are slain.

Unfortunately there's nothing to be done about the size of that inventory screen (showing maps, journals and other objects). To drink the potion I believe you have to left-click on the bottle to choose it and then right-click to drink it (or was it the other way around?).

Thanks for the info frazap! The problem I am having now is trying to give the red crystal to the red beast. Can you tell me how to do that? I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Luv, Joanie

It's been a while since I played it, but I remember having problems with that part. Wonder if it wasn't sufficient to have the crystal in one of your hands (so that it shows at the lower right of the screen) and then simply walk towards the beast? I don't think you actually have to "give" the crystal to him/her/it.

Are we ready for my next problem? Well I'm in Chapter X trying to find things when I came across a big pit with two huge squares going up and down that I have to cross to get to the other side. Well I can get on the one but the other is too far away to jump on. Please can anyone help me with this? I don't know how to jump that far.Any help will be so appreciated!!!Luv, Joanie

Not sure if this where you are - will just give it a go - 'Go onto get the pipes. You have to jump on the two blocks - try itin Running Mode (CapsLock): missing will set you back some
health points.'

I'm Back!!Chapter VI I made it thru the maze finally and found the mantal stone and I'm standing on it but it doesn't take me back to the tower and I can't figure out why? Please can anyone help me?Luv, Joanie

I read the 2 wts again and wondered if you're standing on the correct mantel stone. There was suppose a mantel stone in the bedroom that had a dead rat and that one doesn't work.

The mask that you need isn't the three that you picked up a long time ago. It is the mask you wear with Rebecca. Do you have that mask?

Well I finally figured it out. I combined everything I could think of and when I combined the mask with the ring it worked!!!

Well I told you that I'd be back didn't I? Well here I am with the same problem. I am at Chapter XIV Sword of the Dragon and I'm standing on the mantel stone and going nowhere. I have the sword and the voice is saying the same thing as before but this time I don't have the ring for some reason.Can you help me get to the tower again.Do you know what happened to my ring?
