The time has once again arrived to start a new Name The Game thread.
...so many replies, so little space!!! Rules, for those who haven't participated before, the person who is IT gives clues to an Adventure game, the person who guesses correctly becomes IT. This is an ongoing game, relax, guess and enjoy!!!
Demosthenes is IT, having supplied the following clues:
One of the first things you may notice in this game is that our heroine has no legs.
The next thing you may notice is that she doesn't need them.
This alien is searching for the Secret to Happiness...whatever that is...
Incorrect guesses so far: Rayman and Barbie: A Mermaid Adventure.

This can't be Harvester cuz while you can get arrested it gets you killed i think. And while there is someone without legs in Harvester; it's a he and he's not even the main character.

...
If no one gets it after that clue, I'm going to have to accept that no one else has played this little game, and...then what?

I thought I'd try something a little different to see if it works -- a hangman-like additional clue.
I'll provide a clue, and blanks representing each letter of the title. Everyone who wants to guess can guess both the title and a letter, and I'll fill the letters in as they are guessed. I'll put an asterisk between words, since double spacing doesn't show up.
I'm not sure it'll work, but it might be fun.

Hangman does count the misses! I forgot all about that part of the game, but each miss means the man is one count closer to getting hanged. Would that add more suspense to the way we are playing?

i have a confession to make: as soon as i said that i would run up the attic, i knew i would never find it in a few seconds.. so many games are stored there somewhere..
And of course not in alphabetical order too.
When i started running, meanwhile yelling to hubby if he knew the title, he yelled back that all my games were listed in a directory on the computer

Thank you everyone - I now know where the shift keys are!!
On my keyboard they are not marked as 'shift' & I, wrongly or rightly know them as 'cap' keys!!! You probably won't believe me now if I tell you I am fairly computer literate!
If you go back to my clue I've now edited my dashes - sorry Ellimay but the lack of gaps between words is deliberate & you can't have any! :
EDIT: Sassafras doesn't need gaps & has just guessed the right answer which is Beyond the Spirits Eye. Over to you!

If you catch the rat, you get a slightly different ending to Road to India (the lucky rat goes to America!)
