The time has once again arrived to start a new Name The Game thread.

Flotsam is IT, having supplied the following clue:

I've just guessed that the game referred to is The Secret of the Golden Dolphin, which turned out to be correct.

Special Note: Clues of course don't have to be in poetic form (or answers, either). The thread title is merely a doffing of the hat to those who choose poetic clues.

Heh! Well, all's well that ends well, flotsam. Unfortunately Ceremony of Innocence is one of those games that does not run on Windows XP (as far as I know). But anyone with a computer running an older OS, the game is highly recommended. And I'm glad to have saved your sanity, Mad!

Thanks Becky. I think there was a discussion once on the Just Adventure forums that listed adventure games with parrots in them. The list was surprisingly long!

Shortly after posting, I stopped to think about all the games I'd played with parrots in them, and then reflected that almost all of those parrots ended up flying away in disgust--usually after the protagonist nearly killed them...

What do adventure game companies have against parrots, anyway?
