Thief 3 ......Water arrows

at the very beginning of the game I was able to accumulate water arrows but I dont remember what it was that gave me the arrows....do you find them as you find the broadhead arrows or do I need a water supply....I am really stuck because I am out of water arrows...

One of the black market stores sells them. Also, you will find them here and there - there are some in the fountain outside Garrett's slum every time you leave home, and there is one in a leaky pipe in the area near the two merchants, in the area of the City that has the Hammer church. Look for places that would have water in them (fountains, wells, pipes) for a free supply. Otherwise check out the merchants. But only one of them sells water arrows.

Where in the world is the Builders Chalice?......I have been all over the church and am getting nowhere....I have also been through the factory and got the stamp...also, what are the red glowing thingees on the belts...I can steal one but but what do I do with it?

The Chalice is basically the last thing you'll find in the church before you make your getaway. Because it's a Holy-of- Holies you have to work for it.

You need two items which you have to use - the stamped cog is one of them. They both get used in the same place (i.e. the spot where you'll get the Chalice). There's a room with a cage hanging above....

The red glowing things are the mage wands. You can steal them and hide them, and they will exclaim about losing their wand, or some such thing. If a mage has no magic wand, they can't cast a spell on you if they catch you, and they turn chicken and run.
