Cranberry Production, the developers of the very successful horror adventure games Black Mirror 2 and 3, recently announced their new adventure game project The Lost Chronicles of Zerzura, which will take players into a legendary, sinister medieval world of the year 1514, when the Inquisition took place.
Jumping into the role of young inventor Feodor, players will travel through various countries and will explore several cultures, including the mythical place of Zerzura during the Spanish Inquisition. Players will make use of Feodor’s inventor skills to solve the puzzles of the game.
The story begins with Feodor and his brother Ramon building a flying machine in their workshop in Barcelona, Spain. They want to get as famous as “this painting Italian”. But shortly before completing the construction of their machine, Ramon is kidnapped by the Inquisition…
This point & click adventure game’s mythical atmosphere is strongly influenced by Zerzura itself, the Inquisition appearing as the mighty antagonist, a medieval setting on the edge of the rise of the modern age, innovative puzzles as well as the realistic, sinister graphics style.
