They let the Dossier staff go and they formed their own company called Passionfruit. They created The Tiger's Eye series here.

Wonderful game and the second in the series is coming soon.

Her Interactive cancelled the Dossier series.

This game will be released for pre-order much sooner than usual.(April 3) Release date May 8! Usually we had to wait until July.

This makes me smile, as one of the suggestions made over a year ago on a thread I started about ideas for new Nancy Drew Adventures was an Egyptian tomb one - I bet lots of game studios sift through the ideas on sites like Gameboomers to see what gamers are thinking!

From the preview trailer of this game there look to be some typically monstrous puzzles involving hieroglyphics and picture tile shuffling etc etc - plus lots of opportunities to die. I wish it would show the chores too, like maybe sweeping sand piles around, or perhaps making interesting food concoctions or maybe cleaning up after the camels!!!

Seriously, I don't know about the look of this game, I feel the trailer has given perhaps too much away?

Agree, agree, agree! The last ND game I purchased was Shadow at the Water's Edge (SAW). I was finally excited about Tomb of the Lost Queen, and looked forward to the trailer, but as you said, I only got about a third of the way through it because I felt it was giving much, MUCH too much away about the nature of the game's puzzles and obstacles. I generally enjoy trailers as they give you a feel for the game, but the TMB trailer felt more like a video walkthrough!
