Mad -- yes, sometimes that happens. There seems to be an effort currently to release in several languages simultaneously to cut down on piracy -- I don't know if this is the case with Bracken Tor, but it wouldn't surprise me.
I can't imagine why it would be the case. This game has been hanging for a
long time and the publisher appears to have been more than ready to release it. By the time it is released, if ever, the piracy thing will be settled. Sales will be so bad that pirates may be the only ones that play it. Okay, an exaggeration but when people who might have played it, not rabid fans who'll buy it anyway, get annoyed enough at a developer, sales are likely to be a lot worse than if the game had come out anywhere near on time. IMO.
Just as a for instance, I gather that Grey Matter did not sell well at all, in spite of it being a Jane Jensen game and everyone having high expectations of it selling very well. Could be wrong, but people had to wait forever for that one.
