Myst "Stuff" - 05/28/12 12:44 AM
Hi everyone. I was trying recently to intall Myst V and had some trouble because of Windows 7. Then tonight I found it on GOG and bought it and I think it's supposed to have something in the installation or the game file that adapts to Windows 7. (wish me luck!) So I wanted to post about that in case anyone else has had trouble with the older Myst games and this OS. I have no idea why, but I never finished Myst 3, 4 or 5 and so I'm planning to get them all and tear into them once I'm finished with Bloodmoon! It's so fun to have new games to look forward to, even if they aren't "new".
btw---on another "Myst" note, I was wondering if anyone knows how Uru does on Windows 7, AND if it's worth my while to buy because I really like 1st person better than 3rd person and I'm not sure if I want to try to get immersed in a game that's 3rd person the whole way through.
I'd hate to miss out on that game and its expansions because I'm curious, but not sure how I'll feel about it once I buy it, so I thought I'd see how you guys liked it and what your thoughts might be.
Thanks so much you guys,
Tracy, off to check her Myst V download and hoping that it works!
