I recently changed my computer and wanted to download and play this wonderful Carol Reed parody game, but I can't find any download links that are working. Does anyone know where I can download this game?

I'll find a working download link when I'll get home. I'm in Gothenburg at the moment for the Madonna tour (with the interesting name "The MDNA Tour").

There's a puzzle in there somewhere. I'm sure of it!

Does anyone by chance still have the files and could send or post them here? I wasn't able to find this game anywhere else and it looks so interesting!

All the links are dead for me too, nell. Let's wait and see if Mikael or someone else has any info about where the game can still be downloaded.

I downloaded it Jenny and it seems to work. There is no sound though. Is that as it should be?

Going by what Mikael posted in ***this thread***, the sound doesn't work in Windows 7.
However it has subtitles and is playable.

I don't know anything about Dropbox, but this appears to still be available from the link provided above. How would someone know that the download wouldn't contain any malicious code, etc.? I'd really like to play this game (I love all the Carol Reed games), but I'm a little apprehensive downloading files from an unknown source.

Dropbox is just a website where people can upload files.
Since I uploaded that file myself, and I got the file from the link Mikael posted, I guess you have to ask yourself whether you trust Mikael (who developed the Carol Reed games) and myself.

If you're worried, scan the file with your antivirus.

I didn't know all the particulars of who uploaded what to where, so understanding it was a collaborative effort between you and Mikael makes it a lot easier on my (previously ID-thefted) mind! Seriously, one should always be VERY careful when downloading from links like this. If it's not from a trusted source - don't do it.

Jenny100 and Mikael, thank you very much for this game! It is a lot of fun (and a must for all Carol fans)
Although playing it in Windows XP (or 98) is definitely recommended, as the voiceover is a parody as well!
