Are you ready to play with the devil's boy?
Lucius, the new horror adventure game from Finnish developer Shiver Games and Publisher Lace Mamba Global, is moving ever closer to release: Lucius will be available to retail and all major digital platforms including Steam on October 26th, 2012.

Quote:
His childish innocence wasn’t meant to last long, oh no!

When darling little Lucius was born on the meaningful date of June 6th, 1966, nobody expected him to be anything other than a normal little boy. His childhood, spent in the luxurious manor on the private estate of his father, a US Governor, was as normal as every kid’s young years .....Well, except for the extreme wealth of his parents, as Lucius grew up with everything he desired, including several maids, the family’s own butcher and Lucius’ private teacher.

But everything changed when Lucius turned 6. His real father, the Devil, appeared in his dreams the night of his birthday, revealing that Lucius was his son.

Through Lucius the beast was back on earth. And so, it is now Lucius’ task to accomplish the missions of Evil and gain control of the world. But firstly he needs to get rid of all his family members and service staff at the manor, one horrible, devious and painful death at a time in order to be able to make their wealth and powers his.

Equipped with supernatural powers, Lucius starts off on a blood-flooding tour of horror through Dante Manor, using hell’s powers of telekinesis and mind control to orchestrate deadly accidents that will minimize the population of the manor slowly but surely …

Lucius is a new, upcoming 3D horror adventure. Players will have to orchestrate deadly accidents, using items, tools and hell’s powers such as Telekinesis and Mind Control. By combining classic adventure gameplay with the freedom of a 3D world, players will have to use their wits and follow hints to make sure they don’t leave any marks and can continue their evil mission until the very end.

Very strange, I was just thinking of this game yesterday and I couldn't remember the name of it. I was going to ask what is that game with the evil boy or something of that nature and this thread shows up to answer my question.

I am definitely intrigued and am looking forward to trying it out.

Hope it meets expectations.

Just looked at the screen shots and it reminds me of "The Shining" Stephen King book, the corridor with him on a tricyle and the servant giving him a drink so similar. Looks good I think I will order it, Just love being scared LOL
Thanks Carla

Will this game be played with a mouse or keyboard? I cannot use the keyboard because of my hands, so I, will have to wait until I find out.
Thanks. Vicki

Vicki, the title of their YouTube video is called Lucius Cinematic Trailer - 3d Horror Point and Click Adventure.

I have to guess from that that it is mouse controlled.

I downloaded the Zodiac gaming interface and preordered it. It's available now according to the site so I installed and away I went.

Have fun playing. If you are stuck, please post in hints. Not sure if anyone else is playing yet though so you may need to be patient.

I tried to download it yesterday from Zodiac and got the message that it wasn't released yet. However here I am today downloading it as I type. I will be interested to see how this game plays.
(later)
I have finished downloading and have played a couple of chapters of the game (very short chapters) and it is unusual to say the least. It doesn't appear to be very long or have much of an involved story line but it looks fun if you can stand to be evil.

Can't find a way to save so I guess you have to start at the beginning of each (short) chapter.

For any who might be looking for some help early on I've found a video walkthrough for the game here
