Wow, that was fast, thanks zak! I think I'll hold off and see if there is a disk or GOG version first, though. I like to avoid download DRM if possible.

This is not the Viva Media release. The game being released by Viva Media will cost 19.99. The one on Gamersgate is the dtp release in Europe.

Yes, that is what I referring to in response to the post by Zak a few up from here. You can see the actual cost from Viva on my original announcement and it's only 19.99.

Thanks for the info, Ana, and that is good news.

Viva Media also released Lost Chronicles of Zerzura, and their copy protection was fine with me - just a code you have to enter much like Culpa Innata and The Lost Crown, and no limited activations.

Hopefully, Haunted should be the same.

Just checked the price and the digital download is, in face, $19.99 but if I want a boxed copy then I have to pay an additional $13 for shipping. So, my total cost would be approximately $33.

Since trading games has become much harder due to all the digital downloads (therefore making less games available for trade) it is no longer to my advantage to hold out for the boxed copies. Therefore, it looks like I'll be going the digital download route when I decide to buy the game.

However, I can't seem to get a sensible deal from Viva Media

I would like to buy some of the games they offer but I don't want to download and if I order a disk version from them I'm always quoted over $70 US Dollars as the shipping charge

I went to Amazon.Com only to be told I couldn't buy it from them - although I was recently allowed to buy a different game from them

But it appears it will be coming to Amazon UK at some time so I've signed up there to be notified when it's available

Fantastic. Just ordered mine and with the reduced price and cheaper shipping cost it still came to around the same as the digital download and I will get a disc copy.

I'd go with Amazon. At least their customer service is alive.

Viva-Media does not seem to want to reply to my inquiries as to when the game is available. I placed an order 12/4 for the download with confirmation "Order Complete," however no download links. Created two tickets - so far heard nothing from them.
