The story in few words:
1345: Nicolas Eymerich arrives in Carcassonne, city of the Inquisition, where he receives the mission to unveil the truth about troubling events that have occurred in a small village in the South of France, former territory of the Cathar heresy. Thanks to efficient investigation methods and to his sharp observation skills, the veil is soon lifted: the sickening smell of Satan and its demons is in the air!

Details about the game :
• The game is full 3D, with dynamic camera angles
• For every History addicts, "The Inquisitor" can be totally played in Latin (texts and voices)
• With the "Help of God" system, the players won't never be blocked
"The Inquisitor - Book 1 : The Plague" will be available on PC/Mac, iOS and Android devices on 12 June 2013.

I added the website in the first post. I thought it was no longer valid since Microids took it over, but it appears to be current.

We had more info here also.

It will be in 4 episodes.

I will still give the game a try but I really dislike episode games. To much chance that it won't get finished if the earlier episodes don't sell well enough.

Many speak Latin in France, still, only the French could have thought it worthwhile to provide the voices in this language. I truly admire such crazy decisions that go against commercialism. Unless the market is larger than we thought?

I like episodic adventures, because I have so little time these days to play a whole adventure in one go, and I dislike waiting two or three years before playing a game I know is coming. However I do think they sell these episodes at too high a cost, they are short episodes after all and prices have gone down a lot in the last few years.

I visited the medieval Château de Carcassonne twice in the South of France, it is an idyllic place full of history, apart from the million tourists. I look forward to this adventure.
