Lace Mamba - 12/17/13 09:58 PM

Since they have largely been involved with adventure game releases, I guess this isn't a bad place to ask the question... has Lace Mamba's reputation recovered after their dodgy dealings with various indies were publicly called out? I seem to remember a statement from their then new CEO stating that things would be sorted out and this sort of thing wouldn't happen again. I've not really seen or heard anything more on this and just wondered if anyone else has?

Lace is by itself now. No more Mamba.

I had a press release on it last week. Let me see if I still have it.

EDIT:

LACE INTERNATIONAL ACQUIRES LACE MAMBA GLOBAL LTD

BRIGHTON – December 9th 2013 - Adam Lacey, CEO of Lace International Ltd is pleased to announce that as of January 1st 2014, Lace Mamba Global will be wholly acquired by Lace International and as of this date the company 'Lace Mamba Global Ltd' will cease trading.

Adam Lacey explains “Lace Mamba Global was set up in 2010 as a joint venture between Lace International and Mamba Games. This joint venture infrastructure is no longer required and I have decided to move the games publishing business into Lace International. Lace International is an entertainment software business which has been successfully trading for over 15 years and owns and runs Lace DVD, Lace Digital Media Sales, and 101 Films. I have also taken this opportunity to move away from the 'Mamba' name with all future games being published by Lace International under the label 'Lace Games”.

“All of our current partners have been informed of this move in which Lace International will now take ownership of Lace Mamba Global’s finances, contractual commitments both past and present, future sales and new product releases. My team and I intend to work closely with our existing partners to ensure a smooth transitional period over the coming few weeks.”

“We very much hope that the gaming industry will see this as a positive and exciting move forward. We remain committed to publishing quality games both digitally and through retail channels around the world and look forward to working with current and new developers and distributors throughout 2014 and beyond ” concluded Adam Lacey.
