Thanks for your help, Jenny. I suppose I will continue to wait then.
It's a shame many sites feel the need to hide the DRM (or even lack thereof) their games use. That's one thing I appreciate about Gamersgate. They list what each game uses (or doesn't use) on their site, and the buyer can decide from there.
Yes, I know other DRM can cause issues, but so far for me they have only been with the games themselves, such as TAGES (Perry Rhodan stopped working after the intro when NVIDIA updated itself. I just play it on the other computer, which uses a different graphics card.) or SecuRom (Everlight wouldn't work at all on my second Windows 7. Luckily it runs fine on Thorsgoat's Windows 8, which is a newer system, go figure.) Granted, I know I've been lucky in that respect, and my first choice is always DRM free if the option is available. I consider STEAM one of the lesser DRM evils, but I will only buy a game from their site if it is relatively cheap (or preferably very cheap
) to begin with.
Anyway, thanks for your help, and I suppose the waiting will just have to continue. Maybe one day, I will get to play this game.
