Second Installment Of Mystery Adventure Series ‘Shadows On The Vatican’ Scheduled For March Release

Pescara, Italy, March 10th 2014: Indie developers ‘Adventure Productions’ and ‘10th Art Studio’ are proud to announce the impending release of ‘Shadows On The Vatican - Act 2: Wrath’, the 2nd of 4 episodes in a popular adventure series of games for the PC. Tentatively scheduled for worldwide release on the PC on March 21st 2014, the original game and its new successor are already in preorder on the Zodiac digital online store (www.zodiac-store.com) and will be soon available in several other digital outlets.

Inspired by real events in recent Italian history, the Vatican series is a thrilling point-and-click adventure series freely adapted by the bestselling novel ‘In God’s Name’, by esteemed author David Yallop. With 10 stunningly beautiful HD locations to explore (art directed by Lorenzo Ruggiero, of Marvel & DC Comics fame), and well integrated challenging puzzles, the game takes its players on an immersive adventure full of mystery and intrigue.

In the first installment of the game, ‘Shadows On The Vatican - Act 1: Greed’, ex-priest James Murphy answers a mysterious call for help from his friend Cristoforo while visiting Rome from Chicago. The disappearance of a briefcase containing compromising documents is enough to convince James that his friend is a victim of something shady and sinister. The Vatican's involvement and some strange parallels with his own traumatic past inspire James to get to the bottom of this mystery. Along this dangerous and disturbing path, James finds the most unlikely travelling companion who will question his deepest beliefs. And so the two characters begin both a physical journey in search of the truth, and a metaphysical exploration of the inner soul and the darkest secrets that everyone hides, even a "champion of the faith" like James.

In the 2nd and brand new instalment shortly to be released, ‘Shadows On The Vatican - Act 2: Wrath’, Silvia is hunted by the person behind the attempted murder she was assigned to commit, she knows the only option remaining is to face the deadly conspirator openly. In the heart of the local underworld, Silvia will discover a game of power in which everyone is an expendable pawn. A forced alliance with her ex-target seems to be the only way to avoid the inevitable, but if they want to dispel the secretive mists of the Vatican, James and Silvia will have to come to terms with their limitations...
