Tex Rules OK !!

Finished my re-play of Discworld Noir and am now on day two of Tex : Tesla Effect. And wow !! What wonderful stuff

Tex may be a little older ( who isn't ?? ) but he's as charismatic as ever and I'm having to tear myself away from this game - just as I did with the previous ones - and once away can't wait to get back !!

I'm SO hoping that this is only the first in a new run of Tex Murphy cases

I just started my first play-through of the game yesterday, and I'm loving every minute of it. It seems like a miracle that the game exists. I'm going to take my time and hope that it lasts a good long while. I'm glad you are loving it too.

And with seven possible endings, I'm thinking a replay will be in order, as well.

I just finished the new Tex last week. Its the best Tex Murphy game so far. Hope there will be more....

Mad, as usual, I'm late getting here, but I am also hoping this is just a new beginning! I also would love to have an Overseer novel. I still love reading, and reread all the available Tex novels, now including Tesla Effect. I'm redoing Tesla, too.

I purchased Tex the telsa effect but the game download was so huge I never bothered to even to even attempt it.
and the other game I think it was under the killing moon well it was the scenes in were all pixel just bad
so this will be my last Tex game ever.

I only played completely a Tex game for the 1st time last year - The Pandora Directive & now realise what I've been missing. I did play The Tesla Effect after that & hope there will be more games too as I'm now truly a Tex fan & will when I have time get on with the Killing Moon!

Ahhhhh ..... "Under a Killing Moon" is my favourite of the original five Tex releases and the one I replay the most often

Wow !! That looks GOOD !!

When Tesla was released I loved being back in Tex Murphy's world but couldn't get past 'lasers puzzle' and couldn't get a save game so never got any further. Pity because 2 of my cats Tex and Chelsee kept wondering why they heard their names and who was talking to them!

I can give you a saved game after the laser puzzle.

I'm replaying Under a Killing Moon as we speak. Yes, it's pixilated, but the game is so good that it's worth it anyway. Played Tesla and was spoiled by its great clear videos. I missed Tex so am starting the games again.

Changed my mind. Overseer. I'm always confused about this, but what order do the Tex games come in? Is Overseer after Killing Moon?

Is that also the 'story' order? I have some sort of inkling in the back of my mind that the timeline of the stories isn't in the same order as the games were released.

I don't know the answer to that question, gremlin. The order of release is the order in which I played them

yes that's correct. Some people have claimed overseer was just a remake of mean streets but Aaron Conners will tell you that it wasn't a remake at all.
Overseer starts off with tex telling chelsee about one of his previous cases which involved silvia.

Overseer was being made for intel to package a dvd game with new pc's so the guys only had 6 months so they based the story on the case in means streets. When they finished the game Intel told them they had changed their mind about the DVD so the guys decided to package the game with the dvd & the cd's.

I remember looking at the dvd disk & wondering what it was. Now overseer is being remade and will be out fall 2017 but with more locations and other extra's.

RE-re-re-re-reading the new version of Pandora Directive, always playing one of the games. Sort of played Tesla on Steam, but couldn't get to it to finish, SO I got it on GoG. When I am able to play this will be the first one I start with, hopefully this summer. I LOVE Tex Murphy books and games! It makes me so happy just reading about others who are enjoying Tex!
