Paris, May 22, 2015 – Publisher Microïds and developer Pendulo Studios announce "Yesterday Origins" on PC, Mac, Xbox One, Playstation 4, iOS and Android.
"Yesterday Origins" is a new point & click adventure game in the highest tradition that echoes "Yesterday" released in 2012. It continues the adventures of the hero, John Yesterday, in the modern age simultaneously with the linked events of the Spanish Inquisition period.
The players will enjoy meeting again some of the first episode’s protagonists and elements. Nevertheless, it will also be possible to directly enter the universe created by Pendulo Studios with "Yesterday Origins" and without playing "Yesterday" before.
For the first time, a Pendulo Studios game is being developed in 3D, allowing brand new visual effects.
However, it will keep the very identifiable cartoon graphical touch that made the studio so successful for over 10 years (the "Runaway" saga, "The Next Big Thing"…).
"Yesterday Origins" will include optimized visual effects and interfaces specifically designed for each type of platform, whether they require a mouse, a pad or a touch screen.
Felipe Gomez Pinilla, Pendulo Studios’ co-founder states: “We are very excited to meet again with John Yesterday who has only delivered part of his secrets so far. We still have several surprises in store for the fans…”
