Hi all
I was updating my catalogue of games to account for some recent old purchases, one of which was an old game from Penguin Software called Spy's Demise. The Penguin stable include Bearware and Polarware.
We all know about the feelies in old games, but Penguin used to insert a little known fact about penguins in very small letters at the very end of the copyright information on the back cover. I thought I would share them. It explains why you don't see penguins in certain places or doing certain things, and they are clearly very interesting creatures (and more like me than I realised). Lest you be sceptical, the first is obviously true so the rest must be
penguins hatch their eggs on top of their feet
penguins abhor planned obsolescence
penguins mothers don't wear army boots
penguins have frivolous tendencies
penguins have been known to frequent japanese eateries
penguins rarely seek careers in millinery
penguins have a weakness for chocolate
penguins adore symbolic interaction
penguins have little interest in archery
penguins carry three-ringed binders
penguins shun argyle socks
penguins dislike sand in their sneakers
penguins still do not eat turnips
penguins wear polarware everywhere
penguins never travel in motorhomes
penguins like their croissants buttered
penguins vote by majority rule
If anyone knows of any others (I don't have all their games yet) I would be keen to hear what they are
