Hello folks.
Chris here I guess if you had to call me something it would be "Lead" on this project. I stumbled across this by random chance of clicking "live traffic" on our google analytics and seeing someone link in from gameboomers.com. This is my first time on this website and I wanted to clear a few minor details up.
Jenny100- In regards to Amnesia you are correct they are totally different play styles when it comes to puzzles. However I was referring more to the horror elements of the game. It has an eerie setting where you never really feel 100 percent safe.
BrownEyedTigre- I am aware that the kickstarter has a very low goal. The amount there is the bare minimum needed to cover expenses related to releasing the game as far as software licencing and legal fees go. Of course we hope that the goal is exceeded so I can bring on additional talent however that does not look like it is going to happen. Thankfully the three core members of this project are doing it out of love. I am home sick today and am working on coding the initial cut scene systems so that we can finally start to put some of the story elements into the game. Ron is off work today and is designing a beautiful door that has a "black box puzzle" to open it. You will see us use that term a lot. A 'bbp' is a puzzle that requires you to experiment. See how each input changes the output and use that to make a logical guess as to what exactly happens inside the black box. In this case it is a series of interlocking gears that multiply and divide the rotation of an output shaft that you must align.
Lagavulin- Thank you for sharing Dark Hope with this site. If you folks don't mind I would be more then happy to comeback and post some screenshots at a later time once we have more of the world textured.
