Nelson and the Magic Cauldron Update

Manuel Schenk is drawing and developing the game "Nelson and the Magic Cauldron" on his own and reaches 50% of the kickstarter goal after only two days.

The german web developer Manuel Schenk is developing a classic point & click adventure "Nelson and the Magic Cauldron". He created and animated all graphics of the game by himself. A kickstarter campagne has been started for the music. Additional stretch goals are a talkie version, mobile versions and new game content.

Fantasy setting
Nelson - totally broke - inherits a cabin from his deceased uncle Sid.
He is travelling to the island where his uncle lived and finds a mysterious cauldron in the cellar of the cabin. And the trouble begins ...

The development
All backgrounds and characters are handpainted in comic style. "The comic style fits perfectly for this humorous game", says Schenk. "The game is full of crazy characters, strange quests and black humor."

30 days campaign
The campaign (*) ends on the 26th of september. Rewards for the support are not only a digital version of the game, or the soundtrack, or the artbook. Fans of adventures can have there own name in the game or themself as a comic character drawn by Manuel Schenk. Or you can make yourself immortal by giving the name for the bad guy in the game.

Kickstarter Adventure will be enhanced by exclusive box version

The Kickstarter project 'Nelson and the Magic Cauldron' by Manuel Schenk Games will be enhanced by a exclusive box version by Letterjazz. But it can only be purchased unitl the 26th of december, when the campagne will end.

Box versions are classic packages of computer games during the 80s (and 90s). In this golden age of roleplaying and adventure games the games where sold in a wunderful printed box including printed handbooks, maps and much more - next to a pile of discs for the game itself. Even opening the box should transport the athmosphere of the game.

The box of the game 'Nelson and the Magic Cauldron' will have a wunderful printed and stamped surface. It will include a map, some special game cards and probably some secret surprises. The game itself will be on a stylish USB stick.

The game is already successfully funded on Kickstarter. Many adventure fans asked for a box version, so now is the time to reveal it.
