Thank you all for your help. He is asking 39.95 US plus shipping and handling. Do you think it is worth that much?
You are paying not just for the game discs but also for his expertise in setting up the custom installer. He also offers technical support if you run into problems. If you have a question, he will answer promptly.
It is up to you if you think that's "worth it."
If you are able to set up the game in a Virtual Machine, maybe you can do that. If it completely blows your mind to try to follow instructions like these
***Metzomagic instructions for Virtual PC 2007***then you're probably not going to be able to set it up yourself and the question becomes
"Do you want to play this game or not?"
"Is it worth $39.95 to you to play this game?"
Only you can answer that question.
So far online shops like GOG and Steam have shown practically zero interest in offering "updated" versions of old QuickTime-driven first person games like Blackstone Chronicles, so don't hold your breath for a download version.
Some of the eBay seller's games are less expensive than $39.95. I suspect the cost has something to do with how difficult it was to create the installer. His "Riddle of the Sphinx" installer was also $39.95.
