It sounds like the free offer is working on the storefront page but that the shopping-cart method from the Grim Fandango download page is not recognizing the offer.

You should write to GOG, Mr. Bill, if you ran your purchase through, as you should not be charged for it - nor would GOG want you to be charged for it.

I have changed the link in my original post to the storefront page, where it appears that the free button is working without issues.

Yesterday they had Pillars of the Earth at 50% off and I was going to purchase it but decided to wait until today. Today it is only 33% off. Leaving it on my wishlist.

I believe that the second episode is supposed to be released today - maybe that is why the discount changed?

I don't know Marian. I didn't realize it was a one day special discount so thought there might be something else today. Since I don't work today, it just seemed like a good idea to wait.

I did notice though that they changed the discount on the Edith Finch game earlier than what they showed in their original release post also, so maybe something weird is going on. When they changed that, I believe it actually showed the new discount on the sale page and the old discount (later date) in the release post for a short period of time, then it got changed.

Yea, just saw that Winfrey. I might go for it. Have to pay tax on it at Steam though but I don't care.

I picked it up for free on GOG yesterday - happy with that, although between releasing Captain Disaster and playing ToonStruck for the first time ever, it may be a while till I get to it :)

Toonstruck is a really fun game! Glad you were able to get Grim Fandango.

Sorry to go a little OT but... I just cannot believe I've never played ToonStruck before!!

I had ToonStruck on dics, could never get it to work.

Grim Fandango did appear in my library, just a bit slow to do so.

GOG has Toonstruck, Guybrush, if you ever care to play it. I hope you enjoy Grim Fandango Remastered.

guybrush, I got toonstruck to work using scumm. it works great! Just copy the files into a folder and then use the scumm to play. I just played it again a month ago and am replaying it now! But, if you are unsure about using scumm, I do suggest GOG as that is so easy.

I wish I had seen this free offer. Grim Fandango was one of my favorite games. It was fun and challenging and I loved the sense of humor in it!

Just ordered Toonstruck, $3.39 on sale. Bad news is my "To play" stack keeps getting bigger'.
