Death Gate by Legend Entertainment now on GOG

It was released today on GOG and you can find it here.

I am thrilled to see GOG get one of the Legend Entertainment games - hopefully this will be the first of many.

I thought this game and Mission Critical were the best games from Legend.

Wow, a game from 1994, and it looks and sounds terrific! I read Syd's old review. I played so many games like this back in the day.

My usual question: Does it have timed or action sequences in it that might create stress? I can no longer play stuff like that, as much as I wish I could. I have to stick to "thinking" games, instead.

Haven't played it in many years, but there was certainly nothing like the QTE mess in many of today's games. Check the walkthrough at

and do a search for the word: "quickly" (without the quotes)

You'll find the word "quickly" in a couple of places. But I doubt there was anything really dexterity dependent and it may have only meant "don't fool around looking at everything before leaving."


I did not like it. The beginning parts of the game were OK,
but toward the end it went too far over the top and disgusting.

Oh, sorry you didn't like it, Jenny100. But I realise everybody doesn't like that sort of thing.
