What do you mean by "pack" Mad? The season pass is available on GOG at $14.99 right now.

I thought part 3 wasn't being released until May too, but it showed up on GOG today.

Mad, The Pillars of the Earth is just one game in 3 episodes. Like oldbroad said, you can get the entire game right now, as its final episode was released today.

Oh, I bought the "first" one ages ago (not yet played it) thinking it was a complete game.

For anyone with the GOG version, it does not appear as if the game has been updated yet. I thought something was strange when I didn't get the update notification symbol, but as the version number looked current, I thought it would be fine. However, it still looks as though Book 3 has not been added, as I can only load previous saved games from Books 1 and 2. Once again, it looks as though GOG users still have to wait.

I'm hoping this isn't a Galaxy only thing, as I don't want to be forced into downloading it there. Does anyone happen to know if the DRM free files can be downloaded through Galaxy? If so, I may give it a try to see if the correct update exists there.

EDIT: When I check "Changelog," is shows a March 29th update that mentions Book 3 has been added. Yet, as I've mentioned, I never got the notification symbol that anything was changed. This whole thing is very strange. I wonder if something is wrong with their files. I've tried downloading the new files several times.

I don't think I ever saw just the one episode available by itself Mad. Not that ME not seeing it means anything. I often miss stuff. Where did you buy it? Are you going to get the GOG season pass now or get 2 and 3 from wherever you got 1? Maybe you did purchase the full game?

Mad!! I've seen that game around and always get confused too. But more wine sounds good!!

Okay, I haven't seen any comments regarding this, but in case anyone is having trouble as I was with the GOG version, I've found the solution. The link provided for the GOG downloader version does not work, at least it didn't for me. Whenever I tried to load any of my saved games, they were listed as invalid. When I checked the menu, it looked like Books 2 and 3 were not there, so I tried downloading the DLC for those books and installing that. When I did this, my saved games would load, but the characters had completely disappeared.

So, it appears what you have to do is download each small file individually (if you want the version without the Galaxy addons, go to More, and select Classic Installers), including the DLC Download for Books 2 and 3. This is much more frustrating and time consuming, but it's the only way I was able to get it to work. Afterward, first install the game itself, and then, make sure to install the DLC, so Books 2 and 3 will be added as well.

After doing this, my saved games were able to load with characters intact. I spent all day on this, so I'm glad I at least got something out of it for my trouble. Hope this helps if anyone else runs into the same problem I did.

I'm guessing that most people on the GOG forums use Galaxy and therefore don't have that problem, though I could be wrong, of course. I haven't tried Galaxy yet, as I'm not sure that it's DRM free.

Galaxy is DRM free, too. I was reluctant to use it at first, but now I can't live without it. For starters, unlike the GOG downloader, it downloads the entire game at once, which is so much better and easier.

Could some kind person please tell me what the acronyms DLC (and OST) represent?
I've never been able to work it out. I note that Venus mentions DLC.

Steam or GoG Smokey? Steam was released on the 29th, it's GoG that is delayed.
