Milan - 23 October 2018 - The independent team PsychoDev announces its new project, named Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness, a graphic adventure which blends the Lovecraft universe with the classic style of LucasArts adventures. On October 30, 2018 the developers will launch a Kickstarter campaign to bring the Mountains of Madness to Steam, iOS, Android and Switch, to be released in November 2019.
The PsychoDev team has previously published Chronicle of Innsmouth, its well-received debut graphic adventure based on the Lovecraft universe in May of 2017. This prequel promises to improve on all the elements of the first game, particularly with its increased graphics resolution.
Mountains of Madness takes place in the world of the master of horror, H.P. Lovecraft. Set in the 1930s, it traces the events narrated in the novel "At The Mountains Of Madness", which tells the story of an expedition of scientists bound for the South Pole only to come across a shocking discovery. This is only the beginning of many incredible and mystifying events that will befall them. The game is populated by characters unique to the Lovecraftian style of exploration into the unknown, and spans many farflung eras, even revealing the shrouded origin of the Necronomicon itself. Mountains of Madness is an epic journey in which discovering the truth behind its terrible mysteries is but a passport to madness.
• Play as Lone Carter, Abdul Alhazred - "The Mad Arab", and H.P. Lovecraft himself!
• Dozens of puzzles to solve and characters to interact with in a chilling South Polar region
• A wonderful and atmospheric art style rendered in 640 x 480 resolution
• Developed by massive Lovecraft geeks as inspired by the master
• Original soundtrack showcasing the underlying disturbing events of Lovecraft's novel

Happy Gaming!

The campaign for Chronicle of Innsmouth: Mountains of Madness has reached 100% on Kickstarter two weeks before the end of the campaign and unlocks the stretch goals!

Milan, 16 November 2018 - Mountains of Madness, the graphic adventure inspired by the stories of the horror master H.P. Lovecraft, reaches 100% with two weeks still to go and over 300 backers. PsychoDev now focuses on stretch goals, including the goals of converting the game for iOs, Android and Switch and to dedicate themselves to an additional chapter of the game, as inspired by H.P.Lovecraft's story "The Horror at Red Hook".

These following steps are of primary importance to PsychoDev: the translation into French, German and Spanish. The voicing of the entire game in English is another fundamental steps to go, all ingredients that sealed the success of the first game of the Saga, Chronicle of Innsmouth. The playable Demo offers the possibility to play H.P. Lovecraft, and listen to his voice, in the prelude that opens the story of Mountains of Madness.

To celebrate the achievement of 100% of the campaign, PsychoDev will soon release a new pledge dedicated to all campaign backers: You can write your own epitaph and, along with your name, this will be included in a special scene dedicated to Kickstarter supporters: the Christchurch Cemetery!
