Review of the first two Marcella Moon games by flotsam - 02/17/21 03:15 PM

Marcella Moon is a young woman with a penchant for global investigating.
The first game, Secret On The Hill, takes her to Sligo in Ireland to investigate the disappearance of a famous writer.
In the second, Saboteurs On The River, she finds herself in Red River Landing, Louisiana, in the middle of the gumbo festival with another mystery to solve.

The description of this game sounds similar to the description of Sherlock Holmes:
The Awakened from Frogwares.

It's not the same game though. Just a new announcer, taking the place of the currently ailiing announcer who is down with a backache.

Just was asked to fill in until the regular announcer is back in business!

Thanks flotsam and Draclvr.

Jenny, I hope your backache clears itself up soon!

Regarding the first game, I am currently playing it. I spent already 2-1/4 hours on it (I guess I play slow). I did have a problem with a puzzle though and after solving it I decided it was time to exit the game. The puzzle is pictured in flotsam's review (the shapes). I knew exactly what needed to be done without looking at the puzzle "information" but moving the shapes into position was frustrating for me. One piece actually got stuck under another and I thought I was going to have to restart the game but was able to eventually push/pull it out using another piece. Other than that, I am enjoying the game though yes.

Jenny, I feel your backache! I got a back injection and am feeling 100% better. Hope the "new announcer" can hand back the job to the "old announcer" ASAP!

This pain in the back is a real pain in the rear.
Hopefully it will start behaving soon.

I'm also having trouble scanning a USB drive for virus in Windows 10.
I thought all you'd have to do is right-click the drive and choose "Scan with Defender" or something like that from the context menu. Doesn't seem to work that way thought. Windows 10 has been a bear to work with today. Is there a way to scan a USB drive online?

You're SUPPOSED to be able to right click and select scan with Defender! But I also found out how to do it through Settings.

Settings > Update and Security > Windows Security > Virus and Threat Protection > Scan Options > Custom Scan

It shouldn't have to BE that hard!

I'm trying to scan the StOlaf_Choir_Memories.mp3 file from the St Olav website here
https://www.stolaf.edu/singforjoy/listen/

I used to listen to the St Olav choir's webcast live on Sunday mornings.

Long long ago.
Back when I used to visit Duke Chapel on Sundays to sing in their Sunday Choir.
