THey are indeed, outside of the Graphics - what drew me to this title is also the great storyline. Especially myself who is a fan of this Genre. Aliens, Government secrets, that sort of thing. Its rare to find a good Adventure game w/ this type of appeal.

Someone asked me on a previous thread... What does a game producer do? Well to answer that:

The Producer’s job is defined very differently from company to company, and also differs significantly between developers and publishers. Producers are generally in charge of the production and management of a game from conception to Gold Master.

As well as other areas like the oversight of the game’s scheduling and delivery, oversight of the game’s design and content expectations, assistance with the QA function, etc..

What I can tell you is that my job consists of a variety of additional duties such as

 Managing time & deadlines
 Helping out the developer any way I can weather it be software licenses, DC material, hardware, etc..
 Coordinating between developers & marketing
 Suggesting and implementing valuable game feedback, help w/ localization if needed, the list goes on…

We may get to choose what we work on but other times, titles are assigned, it all depends on factors such as workload, familiarity w/ Genre, a “want” for the game, that sort of thing. But when i took a look at Moment of Silence, i said sure! I'd love to work on this title!

But your technical expertise does not have to be as high as developers & programmers, but it helps to have some knowledge so that you’re both on somewhat of a level playing ground.

I would say a Producer would have to know a little or a lot of everything!

I would like to know is this truly and 'Adventure point/click' game, or is it actually 'Action/Adventure' (jumping and/or action timed puzzles) game? It says 'mouse driven' but then so was Uru.

gamenut, I answered when you asked this in another thread. It is an adventure purist's delight, point and click. No leaping, bounding, or fighting, and what is called one time puzzle really isn't, except it requires a quick click. If you played some of the old adventures - like remember where you had to kill that spider in the Broken Sword game (was that one or two? I've forgotten). It's the same sort of thing. Not like URU/

I like to call it "Adventure"

gamenut -- it plays more like The Longest Journey. As nickie says, not at all like Uru.
