Thank you BFG-Guy. Yes, after explanation I was able to put back the 3 games I was missing. Some of the early buys I had already purchased the CD versons in the store when they became available so I never tried to reactivate them, my first 2 games were the first 2 MCF games and I now have the CD version of them and the Hidden Expedition games as well as the Jewel Quest series. Maybe that is why only the 3 games from the summer wouldn't reactivate
but it is all history now and I am very happy again.
I understood the reasoning, what got me hung up was after a re-format your computer will not remember anything as it is almost like a new hard drive. With your new feature of choosing where to install them I could put them on my external hd but I prefer to have them in the computer and only use my external for backup purposes and have it turned off most of the time.
I have not only been very well pleased with BFG but recommend it to anyone that will stand still for even a minute. Your selection of games is capable of feeding everyone's favorite type games at least once a month.

**edit: I could be mistaken but installing to a flash-drive or an external hard-drive wouldn't mean the games will play on any computer, only that you aren't installed within your physical computer. The license would still be somewhere in your computer so a format would still lose that information. Where I cannot say but I am betting that there is info embedded within your OS so that only your computers will be activated, anyone else would most likely get only the demo/hour. This is guesswork, I have not tried it but it does make sense. I looked up about buying the CD version of the games at BFG and that was the "end result" even with the CD. It states that unless your computer is activated the CD contains only the demo/full version available of the game.
