This could be a little confusing for some. It's stated that Collector's Editions are excluded but in the instructions it states that every other Collector's Edition will be marked as "0".

I just read on the BF forums that Big Fish will be correcting this discrepancy.

Looks like it has been corrected. Standard games are the only ones that are BOGO.

That is correct; Richard. This sale is for $6.99 games only. They may have a CE sale like this, though, sometime this month; we can hope.

I just tried ordering a couple of games and my order did not go through. Is BF having problems? Will try again tomorrow.

Meh !! Got to curtail buying games for a bit, even if they are half price. With the cost of my new computer looming, the bread and water diet has to kick in !!

I am disappointed with their purchase procedures for this weekend sale, when I choose 2 games I wanted and applied the FEST code it gave me the Free game all right, But it also added my Game Club Credit which I do not want to, I want to hang on to my GCC since I still have two free game credits and I would much rather use those first since they have an expiration date. So I wrote to Big Fish to let them know that I was not happy with this and that I missed out on this special, hopefully it is a Glitch in their purchasing system and they will fix this.

Starcom, the bonus card punches are never allowed to be used on any of the other offers. It is not a glitch. The reason is understandable. THere would come a point that you could manipulate the credits so much with the specials they have that you'd end up just getting games for free nearly all the time. With their prices so low already and relying on quantity buying, they and the developers would never make any money to develop and produce more games.

Sorry you missed out on the sale because of this.

The part I don't like is that the installer files are not separated for the two games. They give you an installer to run, and it automatically starts the downloads and installations for both games, even if you only want one. It seems to me that that would be easy for them to fix, and wouldn't cost them any extra sales.

I don't care for that either, Jenny, but I have found that it is a very simple thing to just stop the download of the unwanted game and then remove it; it only takes a few seconds.

I need a CE sale, I have like 5 Ce's lined up to buy.Already have the SE's I wanted so, I didn't take atvantage of this particular sale. I'm holding out for bigger fish(ha,ha)

I think we might see a CE sale before the end of the month; I have no knowledge of this but rather it's just a feeling that I have. I hope this proves to be correct.

I'm sure they'll have some sort of holiday sales for Halloween, and maybe even another for Oktoberfest. My favorite sale of all was their buy one get one free sale on credits. Those could be used for either SE's or CE's and you could stock up.

Thanks for your response and as usual I did not explain the situation right (I am not very good at writing as you have figured out by now), I agree with you re: Bonus Card punches not allowed in conjunction with Sales, what I was trying to explain is that I wanted to “Buy One game and choose another game for free with the FEST promotion” under No circumstances did I want BF to throw in my Game Club Credit, I did not choose that option but BF automatically put it in, and thinking that I might have accidently choose that option, I deleted my purchases, cleaned my cache and started all over and to my dismay BF still threw in my Game Club credit, anyway I am awaiting an answer from BF to see what they have to say because this is a glitch, I had the GCC for more than 3 weeks now and I have purchased a couple of games since and this never happened on the previous occasions.

It's probably me that is confused.

How did you wish to purchase the first game? Did they charge you 2 GCC for the purchase? When you put in the code and purchase you should have ended up with one credit gone and the other changed to free.

I doubt that very much, as mentioned before, it is my writing skills or lack of that tends to confuse people, anyway, as usual BF were very quick to respond. After several Email exchanges all is good, and they answered my questions, and yes when you buy a “Normal priced game it will Automatically add one or more of your GCC to the purchase field”, not to my liking since I would prefer to choose as to whether I want to use it or not.
They also offered a quick workaround to loosing your GCC which was “Buy a credit while still in the purchase field and that will come up to the same…” Oh and in usual Great customer support they gave me a free game coupon to make up for the lost of the free game promotion.
As for them changing that Auto credit system, well easier said than done I suppose.

Still, BF customer support still gets a 9.8 out of 10 in my ratings.

Ray, your writing is quite adequate! Between the different kinds of credits and punch cards and free game coupons that BF has it's easy to get lost.

I am so glad you got great customer service from BF. They are top notch.
