Mahjong Towers Eternity - Has anyone ...?

Mahjong Towers Eternity - Has anyone ...? - 11/25/12 08:00 PM

I just checked and saw that I have been playing this game nightly since 2008!!

Way back then, I downloaded the most difficult of the games to add to the already downloaded games.

I have almost completed all of them apart from one game entitled 'Elect-Tile' which I think comprises 750 tiles.

I have played this game for about half an hour each evening since 2008 and the nearest I have got to clearing all the tiles is 162 remaining.

Are any of you Boomers as hooked on this as I am and, have any of you managed to clear the 'Elect-Tile' game completely? wave

I haven't played this game yet, but I do have it in my Purchase History. shocked I think that's really neat that you have been playing it since 2008! rah

I hope someone else will come along who has played the game so that you can compare your experiences. wave

I sure have Boobie and will be playing again within a few minutes. Don't forget you can download lots of additional games once you have actually booted the game. wave

After the game has loaded there is somewhere showing 'downloads' but I can't recall where. When I go on this evening I will have a look and let you know. The additional games either download from BFG or from the software company which made the game. thumbsup wave

Ok Boobie - just had a look. Double click the game to boot it up. Click 'start' and you will see the list of game layouts on the left. To the top right of this is 'Get More Layouts'. Click on this and you can choose the games you wish to download and the difficulty of each game. This is of course in addition to the games downloaded from BFG when you bought the game.

Hope this helps wave

Re: Mahjong Towers Eternity - Has anyone ...? - 11/29/15 01:30 AM

Has anyone had this problem with this game: You all who have played this know it is a life-long project to finish, right? Well, for the second time while I am toiling away at the top level on the left tower (snake) I have been knocked back down to the tiger level!!!!! WHY? Has anyone else had this problem? The first time this happened (I was knocked down from the snake level to some lower level, I don't remember which) I sent a note to the Mahjong Eternity game people and no one answered. There isn't any way I am starting back up the left tower again. This game can be played endlessly with new set-ups but after many months of playing almost daily I STILL have not gotten past the left-hand tower because of getting knocked back down. Like I asked....does anyone know why this happens? Is there a solution? If I can't get boosted back to where I was, I quit! There has to be some kind of achievement in reaching a goal here. Even if one doesn't get knocked back down, it will still take most of your life to get thru all the animal levels.

Hi joanie,

I don't know if this is your problem or not - but read this thread and let us know if it helps/applies to your difficulty. wave

Oh my gosh!!!! This sounds like what is wrong! Thanks so much for researching this. If this is the problem (and it must be), this is very important info for anyone playing this game. Now, the question is am I going to start working my way "up the ladder" for a 3rd time???? Sigh. Probably so since I play this dang game every cotton-picking day. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your prompt rescue!

I sure hope it works for you, joanie! That sounded like a really frustrating problem - one that only masochists would enjoy. lol luck

Re: Mahjong Towers Eternity - Has anyone ...? - 01/28/16 09:04 PM

well, rats! rats! rats! actually that didn't solve the problem. I started all over again (two months ago) and, am, again, at the top of the left hand column. Went in today and it worked fine. Went in a second time later on and, yep! I've been dumped halfway back down the first column to the tiger level again. So, I closed out the game and restarted and now I am a NEW MEMBER.....have to sign in with a new identity and start at the bottom. Cannot get back to my original game at all!. Just passing this on to anyone who gets hung up on this game. I am sure the solution (probably temporary until I get to the top of the first column again) is to remove the game and reload. I have notified Big Fish, but, believe me! I am DONE with this game. Am I the only one having this problem with this game?

Sorry to hear about your troubles, joanie. I know that one of our members here said that they play the game daily - maybe they will stop in and advise. wave

Re: Mahjong Towers Eternity - Has anyone ...? - 02/03/16 03:02 PM

I have to say, Big Fish, as usual, as been more than fair.....offering me free coupons. My dilemma, however, leaves me with the choice of just quitting the game or losing months of progress and starting over. I've decided because I have worked on this particular game EVERY DAY for many months that I am not going to be satisfied to just quit. Oh, my. I am going to start all over again. Like someone said in a previous post...you surely get your money's worth with this game. You will never finish it. So, in the long run, I guess I have what I wanted anyway. To keep playing this dang game!!
